I've always been taught this lessened the value unless it could be restored.  Interested in what the rest of you think, as well.

Subject: [MOPO] ok, its linen-backed .... what about foam or cardboard?

i prefer unrestored posters.  i have many linen-backed......but it would love to trade these "fine" condition linenbacked posters for untouched/unrestored, good condition posters with "character".   i never hesitate to purchase either if it is a title i want.

clearly, some think linen backed increases values.

HOWEVER............what about cardboard backed or foamboard backed?    does this affect the value?

thoughts?
