Lenny,
*sigh*
The reason you don't have trouble with AOL is because you have an AOL address and so when you send a message to another AOL address it gets through, no problem. The people who are having all the problems with AOL are the ones who DON'T have AOL addresses -- they can't get through to AOL users half the time because of AOL's over-active spam fiters and the way AOL randomly fails to deliver a large number of messages from non-AOL addresses.
There's discrimination at work all right -- but it is AOL discriminating against those who don't choose pay for an AOL address.
If you really want to know the kind of hell AOL is putting other people through... people who are forced to do try and business with AOL users because the AOL users win their auctions... or non-sellers who are just trying to reach their friends who have AOL addresses... then scroll through the MOPO archives for the past two weeks -- you'll find horror story after horror story detailing the problems people regularly have trying to communicate with AOL users in recent months..

JR,What's all the commotion about AOL? I use and have hadno problems whatsoever. I have been buying and selling foryears with no problems. Can someone explain in plain englishwhat this problem is all about? As far as MOPO goes, there hasbeen some long stretches where I haven't received any posts.I feel that there were server problems on their end. What doesthis have to do with AOL? Before AOL users get blackballedmore should be looked into the problem. Why single out AOLusers? Its sounds like a case of discrimination.LennyVisit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
