There is a place in the web where you can check tariffs on any item you export to the EU: http://europa.eu.int/comm/taxation_customs/dds/cgi-bin/tarchap?Lang=EN Once in this page youll have to insert a TARIC code for the movie posters which for movie posters I believe should be 9702000000 (Original engravings, prints and lithographs) youll also have to insert a Country of origin/destination The result I got was the following: Third country duty : 0 % Regulation/Decision Airworthiness tariff suspension : 0 % So, apparently, your clients in the UK dont have to pay import taxes for posters if you declare them as as "Original prints and lithographs". You can find different taric codes at the following link http://europa.eu.int/comm/taxation_customs/dds/en/tarhome.htm Try "ANTIQUE ARTWORK" it may also be tariff free.
