I am going to have to agree with David. You know, I hear Michigan has opened
up some schools and other facilities to take displaced people from New
orleans. I'm not sure this is a good idea....What will they do with these
people
once they are here? They are going to bus them into michigan.... any idea what
a school bus ride from new orleans to michigan would be like? THe costs of
this would be astronomical. Why not send the money down there and provide
tents, shower facilities, water purification equipment instead?
AND who's idea was it in the first place to build this city in a hole next to
the ocean? What kind of thinking went into that? They should take this
opportunity to fill that big hole and start over. . it wasn't the hurricane
from
what I can tell did the most damage it was the breaking of the levy's which
hold back the water.
All our national guard troops are overseas.... its no wonder they can't
mobilize something.....but ask yourself does bush really care? NOO.....anyone
seen Chaney lately? He's vaporized....
