eBay are famous for actually taking action AFTER the auction has run its
course.
This can be for issues such as this, or a fault in their search engines
that consistently fail to register a seller's items.
They just fob it off because to end the auction they have to refund the
seller's fees and of course aren't going to get
a final sales price commission.
Like they care.
