Hello everyone-
I'm new to the group and would like to introduce myself. My name is
Genevieve Legg, but I go by the first name Truce. I've been a member of this
group for several months but have just been hanging around, reading the
posts and getting familiar with the members.
I have an interest in vintage movie materials and have, together with my
other half, John, been collecting for some time. We also have been selling
on ebay for just over a year, and it's been very satisfactory.
I wanted to let everyone know about something that may be of interest: I am
a trained artist specializing in aluminum casting and sculpture. When all
the hoopla hit recently regarding the record sale of the Metropolis
"three-sheet", I decided to make that my next project. I spent several weeks
creating an exact replica of that particular artwork as a solid aluminum
wall sculpture, with dimensional aspects added that don't exist in the
two-dimensional original art. It turned out very well, and I have it listed
on ebay right now. Please have a look and I've love to hear what you think!
