I find it incredibly dumb that :
1) Bonhams makes it so difficult to locate their catalogs on the website
2) their server is so damn slow it takes a really long time for the
catalog pages to turn up .. even on my cable modem service
3) their listings don't show any data until you click on the link
(more slowness)
4) they really don't have top notch pictures for you to see defects
this all surprises me, especially the slow server part. For all the
100's of millions they do each year I would think they could at least
get a fast server so you don't have to wait like you have a dial up.
But I have been seeing this more & more on numerous sites.
It's very simple.... you set the database up so it finds & displays
in a near instantaneous fashion, so I don't have to think you're dumb
& don't pay attention to the consumer end of browsing your catalog.
