Maybe it's just wishful thinking (Sue is framing this for me right now!) but bless 'em, I think they got a little carried away.  I think the offending lots are the ones on either side of this one (#2220 and #2222), these are French re-releases for sure.

 

I'm pretty sure the Belgian is at least from the '50s but from the first Belgian release.

 

While I wouldn't like it much (bought mine from Heritage) I'd be willing to be corrected on this.
