I went to the Bonhams auction and while there were bargains to be had, there were some posters with sun damage. I believe that's what happened to the Strangers on a Train. It was announced as C- and fetched a small amount.
The Lolita was impressive and the It Happened One Night. I guess the best thing to do is get someone local to the area to check them out during the viewing. I did and it was worth it.

isnt is interesting that there is no enthusiasm about bonhams' auction.it was yesterday, incidentally.i got burnt last time with them, although i ultimately received a full credit including postage both ways. they RE-listed the same poster this time as "A-" condition. upon my protestion, here, on MOPO, they amended the decription to "C-" . (The poster was STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, insert. I haven't checked its price, yet.)there were a few titles I would have bid on, but when you cannot bid with confidence, what's the point?we know the good sellers. we kow the bad. why bid to buy aggravation?michael
