Okay, fine, but maybe, you shouldn't use a public forum
like MOPO, to pass a private joke. Maybe?!? MOPO is a place for people who
love movie poster collecting to come together in a common
_expression_ of camaraderie. These are difficult times for our country
and for many people. People are dying. People have died. Over 3,000 on 9/11.
Remember? It seems, sadly, so many, purported American citizens, have
forgotten. Everyone has their private, political opinions. So many are
Monday morning quarterbacks. Our representative republic has in
place a system of voting for leadership that has worked fairly well for
over 200 years. If you disagree with the choices being made by the elected
leadership then use your right as a citizen to elect leaders of a different
viewpoint. Our country IS the harbor of
safety for people struggling against repression. Our
country IS the beat cop, with nightstick in hand, trolling the back alleys
where rats try to hide. Our country IS the symbol for the lowly in
class to strive to become a part of the traditional American Dream.
To work hard, to love your family and friends, and to be
a good and loyal citizen to you local neighborhood block,
city, state and country.
