I agree with Claude. As most of you probably know, I collect items from movies that were presented in CINERAMA. There are exceptions (Bruce's auctions and the 2001: A Space Odyssey 3-d lenticular post card that I sold for $425) but, lately some of the Cinerama items are receiving very few if any bids. But some dealers continue to ask super high prices. A poster for Search For Paradise sold recently on EBAY for about $80. Only one bid! I just won four ticket flyers for 2001: A Space Odyssey, Ice Station Zebra, Khartoum and The Black Tulip for less than $20. I was the only bidder. The Black Tulip was only promoted as being "In Cinerama" in the UK so, it is rare. Months ago I won a quad poster of The Flaming Years which was also only promoted in the UK as being "In Cinerama" for less than $50. Don't the sellers look at what a poster sold for in the past?

Could someone explain to me why certain sellers on ebay keep listing the same posters over and over again with prices that have been ignored for ages. For example, there is a French Red Dragon on for $425. This poster has been listed so many times with that number that the listing fees probably total more than he is asking. There is a $1500 Veronica Lake floating around week after week. Then there are the 'fdavidm' posters with their inflated unrealistic prices that are listed in droves every time there is a cheap listing day. I can go on and on but am curious as to why these people keep doing this. There are many more sellers who do this and if any are here on mopo, could you please tell me what you hope to accomplish other than paying frequent listing fees.CJLVisit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
