Can we just please get over this and start talking about posters again?  This thread is just about as annoying as getting the link to the foreign "rare style" poster in the first place!

So... now I've inadvertently blackened the fair reputation of MOPO over on NSFGE, have I?

I'm so sorry... How could I have been so callous and unthinking? To have been so vulgar as to use such an unspeakable epithet like the "J" word in polite company to describe a business practice whereby lots of non-U.S. posters are routinely and deliberately mis-listed in the U.S. ORIGINALS category and deliberately have no country indicator placed in their Titles / links.... a business practice whereby lists of these deceptive links promoting mis-listed items are regularly sent to all of us here at MOPO 3 and 4 times a week, year after year? What was I thinking? Why couldn't I just leave well enough alone? Now I've disgraced MOPO in the eyes of the other forums.

The shame. The humiliation.

Somebody get out the wet noodle... no, there's no need to tie me to the mast... I'll stand for my twenty lashes and take what I deserve.

Look, people, sorry to have offended anyone... but where I come from, the word "jerk" is a really a pretty mild term... and using it to describe someone who routinely and deliberately violates eBay listing rules and wastes other people's time with misleading Titles is considered appropriate and no big deal.

Whatever happened to fostering cultural diversity on this list? This condemnation of my native colloquial _expression_ is politically-INcorrect and amounts to nothing less that  brutal oppression of my racial heritage as a Southern California valley boy!

Jeez... can you imagine what kind of terminology I might have used if I had grown up in New York City?

I guess we can consider ourselves lucky on that score, eh?

I hereby offer my sincere apologies for being an utter boor and promise it won't happen again for at least 15 minutes.

But... wait... let me get this straight... there are actually reports coming over the wire that on the appropriately named "Not Suitable for General Exhibition" forum people are shocked and appalled to hear that someone on MOPO wrote the "J" word out loud? That's odd... seems the last time I browsed through some topics threads over there I came across considerably worse language than that being used on a fairly regular basis. Or is use of the "A-hole" word considered less offensive these days than the "J" word? I'm confused... where is Ann Landers when we really need her?

I guess things are slow all over... if people on the "other" forums don't have anything better to do than talk about who-said-what on MOPO???

...the flamin' Poster Curmudgeon... remember?

LEGAL DISCLAIMER (my lawyers made me put this in): I wish to remind the court that the law on MOPO is no personal attacks. My use of the word in question was to describe my opinion regarding the business practices conducted by a business and applied to a business name, specifically  "Rixposterz" and as such was not a personal attack, but merely an opinion offered by a consumer on a business practice.
