at least one of these bidders is a member of MPB and when he wants
something, he pays what he has to to get it..
baby Jane is a similar situation. But the Baby Jane card had 2 stars
in it that are fairly popular on eBay - most especially Joan
Crawford and unlike you or I who can either wait, or do without if
we wanted the item - the bidders may actually be Hollywood bidders
with very deep pockets & no time to look over eBay listings week
in/week out and who probably only bid in Bruce's auctions. So if
Bruce has it.. this is their chance, otherwise they may have to wait
until he has another.. and who knows when that will be????
alos, for someone looking to get a great card with these two Divas,
of all the cards there are.. that IS the card
