[MOPO] Voodoo Woman Returns to Gotham -- film at 11:00 ?

Positive energy? By criticizing the dozen or so people who sent someone money and very valuable posters over 40 days ago and had heard *nothing* back from him since then...  someone who didn't answer anyone's email... during which time that someone's ID on eBay became marked with the dreaded "This person is no longer a registered member of eBay" notice? This was someone most of them had never heard or before or done business with, but who appeared to have a history and a track record, and who promised in his auction description:   "We are collectors first and foremost so we are aware of the issues that plague collectors, particularly turn around time for linen backed posters. We promise to keep this to a minimum and stay in touch with you even if we get swamped and we fall a little behind."   Over 40 days ago Frank as "VintageCinemart" listed a bunch of linen backing special  auctions on MPB and also apparently on eBay (and I do mean a whole bunch -- on MPB alone he took orders for 53 linen backings in one week). Under all these circumstances, these people Susan is choosing to criticize had a perfectly justifiable reason for being concerned when someone took all this money and all their posters then dropped out of sight, closing his 1 1/2 year-old eBay account and then not communicating with anyone.   Even then, the only thing that *any* of these people did was start asking questions in public when they couldn't get any a response from VintageCinemart. Hardly something they should be criticized for when the whole situation was beginning to look like Joe Deprenda or Eugene Hughes all over again.   And when they heard through the grapevine what Frank said had happened to him (he still had not written them), each and every one of them expressed sympathy and support for his recovery.   Bottom line: Sometime during the past 40 days Frank... or, if he was suddenly incapacitated without warning, then the partner he has listed himself as being in business with (a Pat Martin, I think?)... could have sent out a brief email to everyone who trusted them explaining the situation -- and offering to send back the orders to those who are not in a position to wait. Dave Lieberman, for instance, stated that he had a client waiting for one of the valuable posters that he had sent to VintageCinemart. Aside from being simple courtesy, such a message would have been the professional thing to do and would have gone a long way towards helping Frank keep the goodwill and business of all these new customers he had solicited himself.   For Susan to pop up like this and offer criticism of a dozen justifiably-concerned people on one hand while ostensibly "supporting" someone who didn't do the right thing seems like a funny way to reenter a community to me.    Susan, I am a bit disappointed that this is the way you choose to announce your return to MOPO... seems like you're still willing to fire off an emotional blast without considering ALL the aspects of a situation, something that you became known for in the past but which I would have hoped you might have mellowed out about.
