On January 6, e-bay member, cubopper, won 41 auctions on January 6, never
paid for any of the items and left negative feedback on all each and every
item on January 10.
Apparently, this individual's intent -- since he has yet to pay for any
of the items despite being sent two invoices and non-paying bidder alerts --
was to place bids on several of the amounts for the sole purpose of leaving
negative feedback.
After sending three requests to two different E-Bay departments and filing the
non-payment alerts on every item, I received my first reply from E-Bay
regarding this matter, yesterday, January 18:
Dear Captainbijou,
Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your Feedback concerns.
In some cases, we can remove Feedback, but only if the comment meets the
requirements for removal under our Feedback Abuse, Withdrawal & Removal
policy. We've reviewed the Feedback that you asked about and determined
that it doesn't meet the removal requirement as outlined in the policy
If these deliberate actions doe not meet E-Bay's criteria for removing negative
feedback, what on
earth does??!! Further, E-Bay has yet to suspend this member for his actions!!
The saga continues....
Best,
Earl Blair
