Looong ago, (it would seem in another lifetime), I ran printing presses from small 3-color 11x17 multi-liths to huge 6-color 45x60 behomeths where one could run down either side of the press on gangboards.
Initial costs, registering concerns, and subsequent product waste on second or third 'run thrus' would make this type of adventure improbable, but I no longer think that the impossible could never happen.
