Betty Hutton seems to have been a very talented performer with a ton of
personal problems. When she fell from the heights, it was at the top
of her career having just come off of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and THE
GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH. Talent like that goes away for a reason so it
a sad, but familiar, Hollywood story. With all the problems people
like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have, they have only a tiny
percentage of Betty Hutton's skill at comedy, drama, singing, dancing
and the rest! May she rest in peace!

(Paramount?) because she didn't want to do any films unless her
husband directed them.. She got her wish.. no more films
