that's right, the style B, while far better as a design, has nothing
to do with the film which is more of a light hearted romance flick.
the poster is clearly just a company trying to cash in on Mitchum's
association with detective/crime flicks and I'm sure there were many
theatre goers who were miffed when they saw this the B style poster
and were expecting something other than what they saw on screen
by the way Kirby.. the 24 sheet image you were looking for a
pressbook for.. El Dorado??
We're getting into the pressbooks after the Ray courts show, and I'm
certain to havce a clipped pressbook for that title
