I understand your frustration at being outbid on this still, especially after
going so high! I have no doubt the new high bidder, who has a 1409 feedback
rating (2,756 overall) is equally puzzled as to who YOU are, and is no doubt
wondering if you are some sort of shill bidder!
I wish eBay would get rid of their idiotic "protection" for bidders on $200+
items, since it protects no one, and since I am fine with everyone seeing every
bid history on my items (I DID have "private" auctions for a year and a half,
but that was because eBay assured everyone that doing so kept your bidding info
secret from all the scammers, when actually they were giving that info to
15,000 "developers".
After the auction, assuming the bidding stays the same, you can see who the
high bidder was, and learn what kinds of items he buys (and for how much), and
yet he can't learn the slightest thing about you, the underbidder, and that is
totally FUBAR!
eBay keeps taking steps in the wrong direction. One of these days you will be
finding eMoviePoster.com auctions on another venue, and hopefully most of my
27,000+ existing customers will not only move along with me, but breathe a sign
of relief that I am not longer involved with that bumbling multi-billion dollar
outfit who just happened to be "in the right place at the right time"!
