Hi Andy and gang -

I like to buy material from folks that have accumulated small collections over the years. Once I met a man who was a projectionist in 1939/1940 and he let me choose what stills I wanted from two shopping bags full of stills stacked flat. Another time a retired Episcopal Priest who had a thing for Ingrid Bergman sold me his rather eccentric collection that included a pair of mint JOAN OF ARC one sheets and a variety of Hitchcock lobbies. But one of my favorite acquisitions was from the wife of an old roadshow magician who sold me his pressbook and poster collection that went back to House of Frankenstein. These are but a few - but it is the way I like to acquire material - small, well-loved collections that I can carry-on for the folks that sell them to me. As far as singles, the last time I used to buy was back when the 1950's Belgian Sci-Fi titles were $12 each at the old poster shows - bought those one at a time until I think I got them all. I am thankful to the poster spirits for they have always been kind to me.
