Hi Peter --- PayPal can be a wonderful service, but always remember that it is is owned by Ebay and set up to serve the needs of Ebay first and the consumer second. Here are my recommmendations. I would set it up with a credit card, preferably American Express because you can seek redress against fraud from American Express when PayPal proves unworkable. Also set up your bank account if you wish to transfer funds to your bank account from PayPal. Otherwise I would avoid this last option. PayPal will always try to default first to the cash balance in your account second, to your bank account, then thirdly to your credit card. Try to keep virtually NO balance in your account would be my advise, since in the event of a dispute, PayPal can impound your balance and can even retroactively draw on cash in your account. Also be careful whom you accept PayPal payments from. Particularly be careful with new users as they might be frauds. Try to stick with Verified Users. Enjoy. FRANC
