There is a good article about Doris Day in this month's
VANITY FAIR.
In my opinion she is a seriously underrated star. Among the
great female stars that rose to prominence in the 1950s,
no one, with the exception of Elizabeth Taylor, understood
film acting, and how to appear to the CAMERA like she did,
especially for comedy.
Her posters? Undervalued and underused!
