one seller who is banned from ebay now : superposters
had aFrankenstein re-issue poster listed in teh
original posters category. This goes back to 2002
I looked over the listing & finally determined it was not a repro & bought it
it was indeed a repro & his customer service was
such that if he had been in front of me I would have throttled him on the spot
he even went to explain that in incredible tiny
print at the very bottom of the listing it says
reprint, even though it used the phrase "original
movie poster" several times before that statement
I wrote to fleaBay about it and their response is below
"I have reviewed the information you sent us regarding a possible
violation of our policy. At this point I do not have enough evidence to
show that the member has violated any current eBay listing policies.
Therefore, no action will be taken at this time on this issue.
As for the legitimacy of items listed, this generally cannot be verified
by eBay. I hope that you can understand our policy in matters of this
nature."
in other words.. any poster is an original poster to them.. and go to hell
