In New Orleans, the Cafe du Monde continues to serve several hundred people
cafe au lait (real, live coffee with scalded milk) and/or beignets (square,
delicious fresh donuts with powdered sugar-- no calories, of course!) 24 hours
a day (with a slight interruption due to an intruder named Katrina).  It has
done so for about150 years!

What is Starbucks????????  And who cares!!??!

PS-- I was employed at Cafe du Mode for a short period in the mid 1970s.  After
10 hours on the job, one goes home to shower off the accumulated effects of
spray-net-like powdered sugar-sprinkling.  It's like being encased in a
sugar-plum-spiderweb.
There are jobs available there for many of the 12,000---- weekly!  It is quite
a trot.
