I never received the original post either but I absolutely don't think a
reputable auction house such as Heritage would have the need nor the
desire to "phony up" its auction results. If you're in the auction
business one can not sustain even a hint of wrongdoing. Given the way
Christie's and Sotheby's were caught and heavily fined for trying to fix
commission schedules, I don't think it's conceivable that Heritage would
risk getting caught falsifying their sales results. FRANC
