While the RR is usually credited as 1950s, I knew at least one French collector who squarely put it as 1962, tying in with what was a general international re-release of the film. If yu have handled contemporary French one panels of the late 50s -early 60s, then this not beyond the realms of possibility, although I would like to hear from someone who has the requisite French PB that might carry a specific date (as the case with the oft-misreprented CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON French one panel. If so, know that 99.9% of 1930s Belgians were the larger "pre-war" size (roughly 23 x 33), so when you see a "small" Belgian, think post-WWII (during WWII, they were small, and included some really funky sizes, including ones printed on the backs of pieces of maps or old posters).
