On a vaguely related note, my two cats have suddenly developed an interest in eating paper (is that a sign they are sick?). I discovered it last night when I caught one of them having half-eaten my 9 year old daughter's math paper.
Today, she has to go to school and tell the teacher, "My cat ate my homework", which sounds like the oldest excuse in the book, but it really is the truth!
