Hi Dave,
I took a look at the poster.

The printer changed to that font around 1962. Universal International
stopped in the US in 1963, but was used for several more years in Europe.
The main mark would be the Visa number. It looks like it's in the bottom
left corner, but it's too small to read on the photo.

Visa numbers began being issued at the end of 1960 and was issued for all
titles, NOT the poster, which means the first time it was reissued after
1960, it would be assigned a visa number. Each time it was reissued after
that would also use the same number. But if you cross reference visa number,
printer log and logo log, it should put you right around the year of the
reissue. If they don't match up, then you know that something is not right
about it, and it needs more research.

Dave, you're a LAMP member, log on and you can check the Visa number on the
French Visa Log.

Thanks Channing for the mention..

This is a guess but two things tell me it's from the 60s. The
Universal "font" looks like a font they were using around 1965-66.
The fact that there's a Universal-International logo on the poster
indicates when it still had the "International" part which I believe
ended sometime in the mid-60s. Let me know what you hear from other
people. Have you spoken with Ed at Lamp? Thanks, Channing
