The Prisoner, yes.
No doubt inspired by it's remarkable originality, ITV are doing a remake this year.
Wonder if they've spotted the wonderful irony of that.
Blue Peter did have it moments.

Boston Legal has some of the best American writing ever and the actors are so well picked for their roles.

But surely we will all end up saying best TV shows of their era's.

Fawlty Towers has to be the best Comedy show ever bt MASH, Cheers,Dads Army,Frasier will all have their places. I think at the meoment the best comedy show of recent years is Scrubs.

Then of course there will be best drama and Hill Street has to be in there as would be LA Law, ER, Callan.

And would anyone argue as to the greatest TV show Star Trek...the original series for all it's ground breaking moves in script, attitudes et al. Then there would be Twilight Zone, Time Tunnel and I would add Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet. All Sci Fi based but all great. Then there is The Avengers, The Professionals, Danger Man and The Prisoner.

For me one of the best will be the Sherlock Holmes tales with Jeremy Brett as Holmes. Every one was compelling viewing.

And what about best cop show? Starsky and Hutch? Cannon, Columbo and more for me it will always be The Sweeny.

Well we could go on and on...in the end we all have our favourites.
