** Hey guys -- apparently there is a limitation with web-hosted images posted to MoPo -- and I've discovered it depends on the type of e-mail program you use. Thus the image below of Kirby's $125 poster below is web-hosted (it's not an attachment; there is no "paper clip" or similar icon telling you something is attached to this mail that would force you to click to "open" what's inside. ** Meanwhile....(see below this image).... ....some MoPoers like Rick Ryan have the ability to post web-hosted images through his AOL account in the same way I can through my Hotmail account -- without turning them into attachments. (Scroll down to Rick's MoPo below, which also has images.) ** The "crossing the line" threshhold is when people go bonkers and web-host a zillion images in their e-mails -- which affects download times if they're too large. ** Meantime, I've been meaning to reach Marty Davis about this -- Marty -- even though you don't post images in your "for sale" posts -- there's is something peculiar in the coding and links in the mail I get from you through MoPo, that causes "freezing" or "lagging" before your mail can be displayed in their entirety in members' in-boxes.
