votes separated the top two, and then Gokey was voted off.

I actually agree 100% with Bruce that there was no way Adam could
have won against those odds.
So many people are shocked that Adam lost and say that the title was
stolen from him and given to an undeserving Kris Allen.
I don't agree with that. Yes, Adam is a fearless, edgy singer with an
incredible range, but Kris is no pushover either. The fact is that
Kris is a young , handsome, likeable singer who was able to show that
he is contemporary, and that he could put his own spin on songs and
make them sound unique.
As good a singer as Adam is, he was sometimes a little too theatrical
for my liking, and watching many of his performances made me think,
hey , that was a fantastic show he put up on stage, exciting to watch
and listen to, but I doubt I'd buy that on CD.
Kris, however, has a great contempory tone to his singing, and I
think he was a worthy winner of American Idol.
Just my humble opinion ...
