Earlier, in the late 1980s, he (Michael) was at a Doug Wright show I was selling at, wearing wacky make-up that made him look deformed (so no one would recognize him), and he asked me in a weird whisper if I had any Shirley Temple items, and I told him I had great ones at home, and gave him my name and number, but he never followed up.
