I totally agree with Claude.
in general I ignore Rod's posts.. I know what they are.. "Mexican garbage for sale". so it's easy to pass.
he isn't the only member whose emails I pass over in general

being a shit stain is not a cause for banishment and as Claude points out - Scott is the final arbiter of who remains a member on his list.

What does surprise me is how much like lemmings some of these posts make people seem. I agree that Rod's FS posts seem crass and certainly lack any empathy towards deceased stars, but there is no standard rule under which he can be judged.

that said, there is no reason why individual members cannot draw a personal judgement on his character, which ranks among the Eugene Hughes's, Chris Cloutier's or some fellows up in Rochester. But do it with class!. There is no need to drag yourself into the gutter to show what a guttersnipe someone else is.

he wants to call Bruce and myself whores for starting our auctions at 99 cents.. who really cares. We all see him for what he is and for my money, he makes a true shit stain look like a clean sheet. I stepped in some dog shit last week.. I just wiped the bottom of my shoe against the curb and got rid of it.. I wouldn't have been surprised if Rod Morgan's face had smiled back at the sole of my shoe afterward.. That's life folks.. and in this world as we know there are what we call "all kinds". Just be happy that you aren't "his kind"

What is the big deal? If you can't stand him don't even open his emails.
I just searched ebay with the following "michael jackson"
There are slightly less than 26,000 items listed and most were listed yesterday and today. Rod's buttons are minute compared to ebay. I have seen this every single time a major name dies. What is the big deal? In fact, for those who want to remember the person, it is a great time to look as more items come out of the closet than at any time during the year.

As for kicking him out of MOPO - That is a wrong reason. This is not a secret society or a kangaroo court. If you don't like him, so what. There are some I do not care for and I am certain that I would not score 100% on a popularity contest. There are rules to be a member and Scott will determine his status.

GUYS,
I agree with Franc 101% in his comment below. Yes Rod was ghoulish, distasteful and almost shocking in posting such memorabilia mere hours after Jackson dying. (Others may have felt it was scalding black humor especially given how the Mexican Bordertown the quality of his buttons) But banning an individual for poor judgement and behavior only creates our own version of the OX BOW INCIDENT. And truly how much time IS appropriate before posting memorabilia of a dead celebrity? I presently have a couple of rolled Farrah Fawcett posters from the 1970's that came with a collection of 70's posters? I just got through shooting them and then she rudely up and died. Now I ask, should I wait a day, a week, a month? Did everyone pull listings off Ebay of their JAWS posters when Roy Scheider died? Who here didn't snicker at a "what wood doesn't float some 30 years ago?" Or when one found out Ronald Reagan died who among us didn't wonder out loud "How could you tell?"...........never mind the infamous "Teddy I think I'm pregnant......We'll we'll cross that bridge when we get there or finally lighting a match stick then zig-zagging in front of you ...LOOK RICHARD PRYOR ON FIRE. Hell! Mr. Pryor himself LOVED that joke and used it to brilliant effect in his post-freebase concerts.

No, outlawing poor taste on MOPO is wrong because then only outlaws will have poor taste or taste bad.........good grief I sound like GW43.

It was tacky and tasteless but I disagree even more with those who think censorship is the way to go. We live in America, not Iran. If you feel strongly about it, don't bother opening this guy's e-mails.
