When I was a kid I thought that MY LITTLE MARGIE was funnier than I
LOVE LUCY.
I even liked Mrs. Odets more than Ethel Mertz.
Of course, I was eight.
She won't even get a blip in the midst of Hurricane Michael.
If we could post audio clips to this antiquated listserv, I would send
one
of Margie's tongue trill. She did it whenever she got in trouble, which
was all the time.
So long Miss Pomeroy. Oh, god, the wonderful OH! SUSANNAH with her
incredible sidekick Zasu Pitts! And Charles Farrell. Gale has gone
to that great racket club in the sky.
I do think TV was better back then. There was only three channels
but there was something to WATCH.
