Sue,
Here is a close up i was sent of the year printed on the bottom
border.. the numbers look a little off to me, too. Again, this is the

Hey Jeff,
The reason you don't see the portal publication info is that the
border of the poster has been painted. The same posters with the same size
borders are for sale on Ebay as Portals.

But unlike Portal repros, these do NOT have the Portal
name printed anywhere on them. And Portal usually prints their name on
their reproduced posters, dont they? As i wrote, the ONLY thing on the
        bottom border, is the year.

Dont get me wrong, i dont think
these are the real thing either. but the lack of any info printed on
        them made me curious.

          both of these posters
were recently offered on ebay. they look like one sheets BUT are
only 29x21 inches. Ed from LAMP thought they might be promo posters
of some sort. The only thing printed in the lower right border was
the year, in the case of the Bow poster, "1930."  Both were
linen backed as well, and the seller was asking about $8K each. Any
ideas? Are they the real deal? More current
            repros?

Cheers.
