Typos on movie posters are not that unusual. The first printing german TAXI DRIVER hails the grand prix de CANNNES...

All later printings show an imprinted decal with the correct spelling.

It is not that uncommon for typos on hand-lettered parts of posters, or indeed on posters themselves.

I have the Australian one sheet for THE WOMEN (1939) which proudly proclaims that it was directed by George Zucor.) and someone on NSF showed a daybill a while back that the world MILLION was spelled in the huge title treatment as MILLLION.
