Dear Scott Burns.- Mopo List owner and Hero...... I have been thinking
over the last few years of people that I admired the way they conduct
thier life.. You are a stellar example of something to aspire to..
You sir have nerve's of steel, But not "thick skin." . that's not it...
Its in my opinion... called: patience and fairness and extreme class..
Im sure you may not agree many times however, you have allowed the "
Lunatic Fringe" as Bruce has called it.. I think I fall into that
category , to plead their grievance and Have allowed transparency in all
the post's not being judgmental,
or biased even though Im sure you have your own personnel feelings.
I would like to thank You personally and wish you the best Merry
Christmas and happy new Year,
The fact you have applauded and allowed new forums and groups clearly
shows your fairness and kindness.
If everyone I had to deal with had your attitude the world would be a
Much better place and be a better
place to deal in. How you are able to keep your views out is really a
mastery of emotions and decency.
When I think of the saying " Patience is a Virtue" you are Top of the
list... I wondered what you did as
as a Job vocation.. and I thought,, you could do anything from
neurosurgeon To counselor, to about any kind
of job where a calm head and patience where needed.. So thanks as Its
been a Pleasure to be allowed on your forum..
Its the only one im on period.. except part Of Amia - a film archivist
group... and that's it,, also I like the mix
On Mopo of professionals and hobbyists and outspoken people as its
become my family of friends, I enjoy
everyone and it reminds me of Wizard of Oz type people.... We are all
not in kansas anymore,,, and I Have aged like...
10-15 years Im not even sure when we joined.. There are Great people on
the list
Also each tie You Post a Obit I relize you have loved the
History and star's of Hollywood and it shows..
Thanks Scott Burns.. Bless You and Mopo and Your Familys
Merry Chritsmas 2009-

First let me wish good luck to Holiday's new group. The more the
merrier I say!
But now some friendly words of advice from someone doing this since
1995: Thick skin is required to run an *any* Internet discussion
group...make that VERY thick skin.
Resist the temptation to fire back at critics and your group will be
more successful (and you'll live longer!) Trust me on this one.
So much for a friendly "hello" to the poster community! ;)
Again, best of luck,
Scott

Wow, did you not read my post? I am the owner. I gave my full
name and a link to my collection. I don't give a rats ass if you
visit or not. We are not a store and I'm not selling you
anything. You ARE a naysayer and you're one of those haughty-type
mopo'ers that thinks your above all others. I'm an attorney with
20 years of experience, a collector of many things over my life,
and I am highly intelligent. So intelligent that I can spot
blowhard like you a mile away. Please, do not visit us because we
need not your type, Claude.
Just in case you missed it last time:
My name is Holiday Russell. Yes, that is my real name. If you
care to check the Florida Bar's website to confim that you can. I
don't care one way or another. I have one of the
finest collections of advertising and Japanese posters in the
World. The next time you care to rant, don't assume that were all
dumbasses.
Now, go take a pill, have a glass of wine or smoke a joint - just
chill the frak out dude.
