Yes Sue, that is correct. There were definitely at least 2 print runs for
the HELP! one sheet. I've handled several authentic (without a doubt from a
1960's theater/stash) theater used non nss issued versions of the HELP! one
sheet with no nss stamp on the back (and I believe they also don't have
the nss number on the front?). Definitely an alternate print run and you are
correct in assuming they were most likely for foreign distribution. Anyone
screaming FAKE is just misinformed (as usual).

I did think that was strange. I looked at the picture and noticed it
wasn't a tri-fold but a linenbacked one sheet. The other thing that is
interesting about the Help one sheet, is that it is notoriously not exactly
27x41.
I have framed many Help one sheets. All have been folded, national screen
service style, and they often measure about 40 1/2. Many years ago when I
framed the first one, I noted the size and thought it might have been
trimmed, but all four quandrants of the poster were the same size, about 10
1/8"
instead of 10 1/4". However, I have linenbacked and framed many more and, as
I recall, they all turn out to be that same slightly undersized dimension.
I think there has been some talk here on the forum in past years about
that issue and mentioned in auctions when they are being sold. Perhaps there
are some straight 27x41's out there as there could be some from two
different print sources. I will also note that they could be posters that were
intended for foreign distribution as they were often pack and shipped that way.

Rick,

OK, since this keeps coming up and I'm one of MOPO's bad boys, I just have
to ask:

Please do not think that I doubt your expertise when you swear these are
authentic, but I can't help but wonder: How is it that this Marci has so
bloody many of this much-sought-after and valuable one sheet, and in mint
condition? And why is she selling them so cheap? If she held onto them for all
these years, when they were running up in price, why didn't she sell most
of them then? And, why, having held them this long, is she now selling them
for so much less than they would have gone for anytime in the last, what,
15 years? Or, for that matter, for so much less than what they would go for
today if sold one at a time in public auctions? None of this makes much
sense to me.

PS - I've always been happy with posters I've purchased from so, so I
repeat that my questions are no reflection on you. I just don't get what is
going on here.

I found out there are ONLY 10 of these one sheets left, then they'll be
GONE. The only reason I'm sending this post is that the seller (her name is
Marci) requested all inquiries/orders/etc to be directed to her email
address, which is [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) If you read
her
desciption, she has had these one sheets in storage for the past 30 years,
back when she was dealing in a lot of Beatles material in Hollywood. Not
only does she have a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE that they're original and
authentic, but if anybody can prove otherwise, I'll GLADLY GIVE THEM A HUNDRED
BUCKS
MYSELF! Believe me, I wouldn't make that statement unless I were 100%
CERTAIN of their authenticity. It will be a long time before you'll find
original, tri-folded NEAR MINT HELP! US one sheets with TITLE AND DATE
STAMPED
ON THE BACK listed on eBay or anywhere else...especially at this LOW a
price. This is solidly a $700 poster being offer for HALF that price to MoPo
members!! Again, please contact Marci at [email protected]_
(mailto:[email protected]) ---not through her aucton! Link to auction is
below so you can
take a look. I'm frankly baffled why certain notoriously OVERPRICED
dealers haven't purchased any of these. Probably because every member of MoPo
will know what they paid for the "Ultra Rare Help! US 1-Sheet" that they
sell for 4 TIMES that amount in their eBay Store a couple weeks after they
purchase it! For everyones's information also--I have ONLY RECEIVED POSITIVE
EMAILS about these one sheets from those who have purchased them and
otherwise! There is NO hidden agenda here! Just a really solid, intelligent
deal for the discriminating buyer/investor.
                                                          Rick
