Here are two of the pictures that were in the book. I'm guessing it's the guy in Lost in Space. I think the older guy is Joe Pasternak. Is Ralph Lee still alive? Would he want these pictures? http://cineramahistory.com/ralphlee.jpg http://cineramahistory.com/ralphlee2.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: Phillip W. There was a Ralph Lee who performed in the MP The Stripper. He also appeared in Lost in Space. In one of his earliest roles, Lyle Wagonner ( of Carol Burnett Show and Star Wagon Dressing Rooms fame ) together with Ralph Lee each played silver skinned mechanical aliens in the Episode called Deadliest of the Species. That is the episode where the Robinson's B-9 robot ( a version of Robbie) falls in love with an evil female robot. Don't know if it is the same Ralph Lee, but the time frame is right. There was also a Ralph Lee during this same period who played bassoon or some similar instrument in the MGM Staff Orchestra. ----- Original Message ----- From: Roland Lataille To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, February 11, 2010 4:23 PM Subject: Re: [MOPO] Who is Ralph Lee? OK. I think I figured it out. I looked up Ralph Lee on IMDB and he made only a few films. One of them was Billy Rose's Jumbo where he was uncredited. Joe Pasternak was the producer. Maybe the guy in the pictures with Ralph is Joe Pasternak? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Roland Lataille <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thu, February 11, 2010 7:13:59 PM Subject: Re: [MOPO] Who is Ralph Lee? Anyone know who this actor is? I bought a movie program for The Wonderful World of The Brothers Grimm. This program is easy to find but it included a ticket flyer which are kind of rare. Anyhow, inside are studio pictures of this guy Ralph Lee. Also are pictures of Ralph Lee in a kitchen with an older guy (with a bow and ribbon on him, maybe a birthday?) and what looks like the house staff (maid, cook and gardener?) - these are dated on the back 7/2/62. Also portrait pictures of a young woman (maybe his girlfriend?). There is also a Valentine's Card signed with what looks like Wynn. On the inside cover of the book is written "Ralph, Johana, Mike Pasternak & Me August 7, 1962". Just curious.
