I don't know nuthin' 'bout makin' no fake comics, Miss Scarlett... but it sho wouldn't surprise me none to heah that for a $million dollars that some skilled forgers out there have tried their hands at creating a few extra copies of some choice titles (just for their own personal use, you understand...)

Or the Greater Fool theory. Once a few of the "big players" decide to back off, prices can go down just as quick as they go up.

If the people buying these items have a true love of them, that's a healthy hobby. But when the "investor types" buy because they think they are going to sell at a huge profit in a few years, it's a recipe for disaster.

Time will tell.
