My take on this: I actually think it is very cool!...... but at the same time I think it is a bit ridiculous. I do not think it will be a profitable/successful venture for CGC as the number of people who collect lobby cards is very small (probably 100x or more smaller) compared to the number of collectors in the other hobbies they service. and....the amount of collectors who collect lobby cards is shrinking.......not growing. I do not believe slabbed lobbies will bring new collectors to the hobby.....why would it?
