Expensive Disney ($10,000+) was a classic "bubble" just like the stock
market or real estate. A few deep pocketed collectors bid against each other
over and over, driving up prices until no one but them were buyers. Then,
just as in musical chairs, the music stopped, and those left with expensive
Disney posters found there were no buyers, even at half the prices of the
"bubble"peaks.

We will keep seeing those posters spiral lower, until finally they get to
prices that mere mortals are willing to buy them. This was a classic case of
buyers buying on the "greater fool" theory.
