List-servs are dinosaurs in the world of technology.  Why have an email box cluttered with mass amounts of emails, most of which are probably of no interest (especially when a lot of off topic stuff) when today we have social media groups, online forums, etc where WE have control over what we want to see, read and respond to AND who we receive email from?
