Has anyone ever seen this White Zombie 1-sheet before?
Full Photo: http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/3875/10431969.jpg Original Auction Photo: http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/6859/dsc00501fp.jpg Close-up Photo (silkscreen?): http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/7973/wzcloseup.jpg Here are the particulars * Paper measures a full 27"x41" * There are no borders (all white you see is the linen it is mounted on) * Folds are very straight, look like machine folds * But, the vertical fold is slightly off center -- left half measures 13 5/8", right half measures 13 3/8" (not sure if that means anything) * Printed on matte paper, not glossy * Paper is yellow all the way through (I checked the back) * The paper is thin, but has a nice texture to it... you can see some of the fibers if you look closely at the yellow parts * Printing looks like single color maybe screen print? (see close-up of woman's face above) * Regardless, definitely not computer or offset printed * No printer or artist info or fine print text whatsoever Given the rather risqué artwork and the fact that White Zombie is a public domain film over at APF we were thinking it was maybe printed locally for a 50s or 60s screening. Here is a link to the APF thread: http://www.allposterforum.com/index.php/topic,1263.0.html Have any of you ever come across this poster before? Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
