It can't be said better than Toochis said it here, except to add that humanity 
lost a great
artist as well.  John Lennon knew the lows and the incredible highs, but in the 
end there was a great
spirit of love in him and that still shines brightly.   Anyone interested in 
delving a little deeper should read Philip Norman's book JOHN LENNON.
