Hi, Everyone,
Below is a link to a current auction on eBay. An "original" one sheet
from the 1968 Cult Film HEAD, starring The Monkees and some other noteworthy
stars. If you check, not only is this one sheet ROLLED
(finding any rolled one sheet from that era is almost impossible...highly
improbable at best). Also, if you look closely, the poster feature
dot-matrix printing, which I don't think was that prominent back in 1968.
I have no interest in this poster...just thought I'd share with other
members what goes through my "head" when I'm looking at this HEAD one sheet
described as being original...while certain things about it point to the
fact that it very well might not be. Just throwing this out for discussion.
I think anything we can do to help each other discern whether a poster is
the real deal or not is ultimately good for the group as a whole and good
for the hobby... Rick
