I recommended to Nigel Arthur, the curator of the BFI collection, that he join MoPo and, if he does, he may answer some of your points. I rather doubt that we will come across another copy of it though! The only lobbies or half sheets I've seen from pre-40s US releases that were used in Britain were taken from, or at least almost identical to, the US campaign. The stamp says British Board of Film Censors U certificate There are stains and creases and general wear throughout. Maybe this adds to the age and authenticity of the image.. Colour has been retained. There is also a mark at the bottom where someone has written in pencil or ink Swing Time but this can easily be air brushed out. It is a really strong image.
