I followed up on the "FA: Bargain priced Australian Daybills" posting from
last week, and placed a bid, only to have it canceled and the auction ended
early. I realize there might be other reasons, but it would be nice to at
least send a message through ebay to let me know why, as opposed to the
impersonal ebay form letter telling me "the item is no longer available,"
which I always read to mean, "Your bid wasn't high enough to suit me--it's
not really a bargain' " I read a lot of posts here with dealers
complaining that they don't get good action on Ebay. Just sayin': this sort
of thing makes me less likely to click over to ebay after seeing a seller's
MOPO advertising. -Tom
