When the MGM Grand first opened in Las Vegas in the mid 1970s, they had a theater that only showed classic movies, and they has two people plush couches and cocktail waitresses who came to your seat and served soft drinks or hard liquor at no charge!
Naturally it didn't last long, but it was great while it lasted. They also had a massively drugged lion on a leash by a giant MGM logo and you could get your picture taken with it (but they had trouble keeping it awake). They also had a memorabilia store that at the very first had some good things, but dealers quickly picked it clean.
