Hi to you all
eBay has been doing some strange things lately. For the last few Tuesdays they
have been offering free listing days - sometimes 1000 listings, 5000 listings
etc etc with no restriction on price. They also give a certain amount of free
listings to casual sellers. Meanwhile, sellers with stores continue to pay a
flat rate for all their listings.

There have been various rumours and speculations about the strategy of all of
this but I'm just wondering how MoPo eBay sellers feel about all of these free
listing days. There are not many sellers who can just come up with 1000 or 5000
listings to add at short notice.

I would be interested to hear what you think. Are the free listing days part of
an overall master plan to introduce permanent free listings? Do they affect
your store sales or the way in which you manage your eBay business?

Regards
John
